We had four nights at the Basswood RV Resort. It was a perfect place to relax. Our site was right on the Fish Pond where we could see the Big fish swimming around. One day we took a ride to Leavenworth and saw the penitentiary. It was ...

Surprise, surprise! I found a couple of wineries close by so we headed over to try them out.

The first one, Jowler Creek Winery was only 6 miles from the RV Park. You could see water lines about 4 feet up on houses and most of them looked like they had been abandoned. ...

Had a late lunch at Sweetie Pies in St Louis. Excellent soul food! The fried chicken was amazing - and that's saying something from someone who isn't a big fan of fried chicken.

Stopped outside of Kansas City for the day. Planning on making it to Wall, SD (home of the "famous" Wall Drug") tomorrow and then checking out Mount Rushmore on Thursday. ...
