Day 1: we start the day with a tour of Luray. It reminds me a little of Stars Hollow from Gilmore Girls with the quaint architecture. Again, cute bakeries and antique stores can be found here. Hinesh and I went for a walk around the river path for a while. Its a nice peaceful place to take a walk and some people were even jogging.

We have a quick lunch / snack at the Gathering Grounds again before we head out.

We were going to initially visit Staunton but since its ...

So we eat at Maggiano's, Range and Chang's Chinese. ...

We fell in love however with the famous Renoir painting which is permanently in the Phillips museum. The gift store here was also fabulous and we had to leave before we bought many things that we didn't need. We had such a great weekend. Exploring a new city is always so much fun when you get to do it with fab ...

... we went to the Old Post Office Tower for a high up view of the city, swung by Ford Theatre, the National History Museum, the Holocaust Museum and the Air & Space Museum. We saw a lot of amazing things and it was a very hot day so after that we were ready for a rest.

The following day was the 50th Anniversary of the March on Washington at which MLK gave his “I have a dream speech”. The plan was to wander down the Mall from ...
