... at me and just said "Dude, we gotta get out of here." We were at the bottom of a hill and right by the Lake and there was a good 6 inches of rain water outside our tent. We realized that if this kept up then we were in the prime flooding area. We decided to grab all of our stuff, run to the car, and get to higher ground. We left the tent set up and hopped it would be there when we got back. We found a spot for the car and passed ...
... but aside from talking and asking a lot of questions and offering me his leftover onion rings (which I declined), he loved what little bit of the show he managed to see since he was leaving the tent every five minutes for a smoke. He kept forgetting to put out his cigarette before heading through my gate, so I’d remind him each time and he’d laugh and shake his head.

Thank you for following our adventures…we’ll be traveling with the show the next two weeks, so I will continue the blog as I’m able to while we’re with them. After that, I’m driving back up to Michigan to work at my two previous jobs (Nicola’s Books and Relaxstation Massage Therapy) for the holidays and then we’ll be back in Oklahoma after the new year for another circus season!
We took a side trip to turner falls becauseit was so hot. 94° today.
The falls were great and a nice picnic area
Some of the people took their picnic very seriously. 4 burner bbq with a hand trolley to carry everything.
Due to this side trip we Missed the Chickasaw Cultural Centre.
