    ... that has the beach on one side and the casinos and shops on the other. At 7.30 pm all of the shops were closed, half of the casinos were boarded up and only a few people were walking around.

    I can't say that AC was ever a great place, as compared to the mega casinos and hotels in Asia the place is a dump. I'm sure however that in its time it was considered exciting but it sure is an ugly place. One street back from the strip and you find yourself in ...

    ... to Atlantic City, but I was really not impressed with what was there. The tourist area was minimal and there were no souvenir shops as far down as I walked. The only thing available to me was a shopping mall along the beach where most of the stores had closed so it looked minimal. There were also restaurants and Casinos, but really, I had no desire to waste a fortune trying to score big.

While in the hotel, we visited some of the stores where Clay purchased dice and playing cards that had been used in the casino and a cigar. While in that store, we saw a bottle of Louis XIII cognac by Remy Martin in a window. It was for sell for $9000.00! Have mercy - I can think of better ways to spend that kind of money! ...
