    Shopping ... unsuccessfully

A travel blog entry by jason934 on Oct 08, 2015

Our only activity today was an attempt to get the suitcases fuller before we head home in three weeks. We went to many stores over 6 hours and didn't get much at all, despite trying on lots of clothes. The day was pretty warm but it got overcast so the day was comfortable despite being in the late 80s. For lunch we had Taco Bell and for dinner we had ...

The first guy seemed a little bored so wasn't that great but the second guy was good. The first tour was large, ...

... at either Freddy's or Five Guys. Still thinking about it. Decided on Freddy's. Woke up this morning and looked out the window. There were 8 deer in the field next to the parking lot. Wild animals, cool! One of our goals is to see a dead armadillo on the road. No luck ...

... day was El Mercado to get a feel for the local shopping and food. While there were fascinating open air shops and restaurants, selling gifts from south of the border and Mexican pastries, we opted for a little face painting and lemonade instead.
Such a full day, Kaitlyn was such a trooper, keeping up as we walked through each stop on the tour. We are all looking forward to a relaxing day tomorrow with not much to do so we can recoup from ...
