... river with a couple water spray parks for the kids. So nice. We likened the way the whole town got into the dinosaur spirit to how Roswell did the same but with aliens. After Drumheller the destination was Calgary, or rather an RV park just to the east of Calgary.

First, however, we continued on our tour of rural Alberta with a stop in Beiseker where we learned of the man the town is named after and also visited the Beiseker Station House ...

... came by today. We talked about the various projects possible and showed her the donations we ( Addie and Brian) had brought down. From various folks and businesses around Olds came sewing supplies for the women who have just come into some solar powered sewing machines, medical supplies such as Tylenol, dental floss, childrens' books, school supplies and a Calgary Flames duffel full of baseballs, one full of soccer balls and one with bats! We had trips to Banff, and Drum Heller, and West Ed... Our familes were wonderful about spending time with us. I won't forget the first time Peruvians saw the snow.. ... to be a birthday party for Nolan, he is turning 18, so at 6:30 everyone is meeting at my house and we are going to walk to his house. Then tomorrow morning our family is taking Fer and I to Drumheller to see the museum and to have a picnic! That should be fun, and it will be nice to actually spend some time with Fer... I miss my counterpart! Anyways, I guess that is a pretty good update. Keep taking care of each other at home, be safe and make good decisions. See you!

Ok so it has been a while. Apologies. Banff was fun. Slept in the van with it parked at the local playgrounds. Hit the local hostel bar for cheap food and beer before stumbling back to the car. Banff was beautiful but still that touristy kind of place and it was full of Aussies. From Banff we drove to Calgary which ended up being a little bit different than I expected. I expected a city full ...
