It was a long drive from Swift Current to Rimbey but mom and I did take time to stop in Big Valley to tour the town, have a salad and share a Reuben sandwich and visit the local antique shop. It was nice to spend time with mom.

Upon speaking to folks in Jasper, I determined that it was best to go via the Parkway. About 50 kms down the road, I had to pull ...
