... Washakie to visit the Sacagewia cemetery. The children remembered learning about her travels with Lewis and Clark in the 5th grade so we thought it was an important stop. The cemetery was brightly decorated with flowers and wreaths. There were bed frames used, not sure if there is meaning there I'll need to look that up. The yard is the largest in the world (at least for now), and contains 315 miles of track, two hump yards, and processes 10,000 cars a day. Average hold time on rail cars is around 11 hours. 150 trains a day move in, out and through this yard. ...

... down the mountain, the rain stopped. We made it safely to our stop. The managers were so helpful, showing us to our spot and helping us park. We took a short walk wearing or heavy coats, and the dogs wearing their sweaters too. We quickly returned to our warm house. We snacked for dinner. Extra blankets and doggie cuddling to stay warm. Lights ...

Another 300 miles on the road today. I took a shot of Tina as we were near the west side Continental Divide. Spending the night in Rawlins, Wyoming which is the east side of Continental Divided and at 6800 ft, which would explain why my 2 mile walk to get dinner wore me out.
It should be a lot of down hill from hear. Heading of Ogallala, Nebraska tomorrow. More pictures then, I ...
