    ... approach to landing I gave the passengers a little bit more "float" on touchdown than normal but got it on the ground firmly in some brisk winds. Enrique's Mexican Restaurant on the airfield accommodated us with lunch in the Pilot Lounge since we had Ichabod with us because "no se admiten perros en el restaurante". Ichabod did great with his home-rigged noise canceling headsets and slept most of the way. Good boy! Next stop, Little Rock, ...

    ... ten handfuls of nature trail mix. Snack 2: Apple, Waffle Energy Bar Snack 3: Organic Fig Bars Dinner: A plate of salad, six pieces of bread, a full (absolutely full) plate of pasta with meat sauce, and a peanut butter cookie.     ... and the conversations you have that make it all doable! Today was a great example of that. We eventually made it to the Sun n' Fun waterpark, chatted with a reporter from the local paper, and played on the slides, lazy river, and wave maker before wrapping up and heading into the host site, which was only about 8 more miles away from the waterpark.
