    ... own round 12 Model A's cars and trucks that they use on the property for varies uses. A lot to see the but we had to get on the road and headed to St. Louis, MO. On the way we travel on some of Old Route 66. We got to the Motel 6 at around 5:30 in Fenton MO. Tomorrow we are going the the Gate Way Arch and Dave P. and Jim are taking a ride to the top. I have done 2 time before and Dave B doesn't want too. Are final stop tomorrow should be Springfield IL. Good ...

    ... We started talking to the server and told him I'd found them on TripAdvisor and just had to come and try them out.. The owner ended up coming over to talk to us and they gave us the most divine chocolate brownie with salted caramel ice cream which so so lovely gesture but I think they loved the fact we'd come all the way from Australia to eat their pizza. Straight back to the Hotel after dinner for a reasonably early night. Tomorrow we get to explore St Louis.

    ... now apparent that the first gate had only been opened for access to cut the grass verges because we had driven over a blanket of freshly cut grass that had blown over the lane and which had covered most of the pot holes on the tarmac we had managed to find with our tyres and suspension. Harry saw me squeeze the car round the left side of the gate where there was JUST about enough room to avoid sliding down in to a drainage ditch.
