Yesterday I graduated from college at McDaniel College in BEAUTIFUL (if you were with me you would recognize my flaming sarcasm) Westminster, MD. I spent four lovely years there making friends, earning degrees in Spanish and Communication and, of course, constantly being in a state of keeping off a beer belly.

... Massachusetts. We crossed into Massachusetts and were welcomed to the Berkshires, I think I may have heard that names before as well with a connotation of wealth. Then we travelled some on Jacob's Ladder Trail of the Appalachian Trail. The 20 in New York where we were was called a scenic biway and we saw signs indicating Amish but didn't see an Amish horse and cart unfortunately. Also, passed a Shaker Village. This state is so rich in history.

Is it just me or do other people get stressed packing for trips? I have been thinking of it for months, and now it's the final hours. Lists are made, suitcases out, stocked up on all my drugs (prescription!), called the airlines for seat assignments and to make sure I can carry on my CPAP and air cast and not have it count against me (broken-down loser that I am!), called the bank, Verizon, the credit card. It's a lot of work!
