We left Cleveland on a warm September morning hoping to get to Virginia by late afternoon. We took I77 south to Strasburg, OH where we would leave the super slab behind for most of the trip. Little did we know that many two lane roads in most of the areas we would travel were near freeway speed limits. We headed east on US 250 where we settled into …

In retrospect, as self appointed 'route planner in chief' I might have asked a bit much of Stuart today. Pennsylvania is our goal ...

We left Cleveland this morning around 6:00 am, and drove to Frank Lloyd Wright's incredible design, "Falling Water" in Mill Run, PA. What an amazing structure. I can definitely see myself living there. I wonder how a cantilevered structure over the Corrotoman River would look???

After lunch in PA, we headed into West Virginia..."Wild and Wonderful" (according to the welcome sign). We ended up in Bridgeport, ...

... in my textbooks. I hope to try their paella and check out some truly wonderful museums. While I have travelled to France, Costa Rica, and Korea, Spain has always had a special place on my bucket list. Even just thinking about how I will be there in two days is making me giddy! What I am most nervous for is adjusting to speaking Spanish 100% of the time. When I took AP Spanish my senior year of high school, I adjusted to speaker faster and more ...
