Holy **** . . . it is smoldering here!!!!!! And we are by NO means exaggerating. It is around 35 degrees here today or more! It's not too safe to stay on the beach, although sitting in the water is all anyone is doing. People in the water weren't even playing games, just sitting in the shallow water enjoying the coolness. It was glorious. Sorry we didn't write yesterday. We had a really busy day and then we were told there aren't any internet cafe's in Geelong. So we couldn't make an entry. Y...

Every ounce of causality in this guest house drags you into a drinking binge - every living pore of this place screams 'DRINK' at you - everyone is getting p*ssed every day, and a regular surge of non-resident students, locals and tourist groups pour in every night, such is the atmosphere. Even when ...
... for 3 days of visiting the twelve (eleven?) apostles and drinking imported beer (well we sure didnt come back for the beer) and Australian wine.
Saturday was of course the highlight - Henry and Mai`s beautiful wedding. Starting with the tea ceremony and amazing vietnamese lunch and then continuing on in the evening with the civil ceremony and reception.

... which is like OUTER OUTER suburbs. Congratulations, the next train would go at 5. I didn’t have any money on me, obviously. What did I do? Yes, I jumped a cab! Tick on the list of "must-have-accomplished-in-life", jumped a cab.. So that was adventurous.

... giant penguin!!! We arrived, parked up then Crunch!!! Jenny accidentally reversed into a car behind. As we all know car verses land rover, land rover wins. there was no damage to us but the other car had a cracked bumper. Oh dear what a start. After this we all felt a bit glum so decided to head a shorter distance so we could get some down time to recuperate. We got to Marrawah on the west coast to a beautiful beach camp site where we enjoyed a proper nights sleep in the tents. Phil ...
Melbourne, Victoria, Australia feeandpete... match and talking to the people sitting around me. I wrapped up the official Day 1 in Melbourne with dinner at an Italian cafe on Lygon Street, which is one of the several "cafe districts" in the area. Melbourne has a reputation for really good food and good shopping and several different hot spots for both, so I checked out this area first and had a great meal. I wasn't too far from my hostel and walked back with a gellato, perfect! The next day was even better weather ...

Melbourne, Victoria, Australia reversemerger... Ju emerged from the clinic with his cheque - healthy and rich. After the medical test experience Julien's luck turned and he started a new job - filing with Jo. So we're back working together! The job is pretty boring, boxes and boxes full of paperwork that needs to go in the correct client file and that file is not always easy to find... but hey, it's very relaxed (jeans and MP3 every day) and pays well. The job was supposed to be for 4-5 weeks but it turned out to be much ...
Melbourne, Victoria, Australia johannajulien... figure out the train system to get downtown to the Melbourne Cricket Grounds for the Australia vs. India Cricket test. Myself as with most Americans have no idea how this game is played on any level, but Dane was kind enough to explain the game to me in an in-depth manner a few days ago. So I was pretty excited to spend the entier day drinking and watching a sport that I have had no prior exposure to. I met Simon outside the MCG ...
