... visitor's centre for New Mexico and they have free wi-fi so taking advantage to update.Planning to go to Rock Hound State Park. We camped there 8 years ago when Miranda was with us. Now that I have a rock polisher at home, I want to get some rocks from there to polish. We will most likely stay there the night.

... The wines were reasonable; the staff was friendly and informative. They welcomed us with open arms and there was not any pressure to purchase anything but we did. ... it was already 90 degrees but you could easily walk barefoot on the sand. The first trail was the Nature Trail with signs about the sands flora and fauna. For over one mile you go up and down sand dunes in this vast array of sand in the middle of the desert. After this mile I was tired due to the fact that it is hard to walk all over these sands.
