I woke up around 8 to get washing done and to finish packing the box of stuff to send home.

Gail's cousin, Regina, arrived around 10:30 to take me to lunch. She is a hoot. We had a lot of laughs.

We first went to the Harley shop so I could get a hat pin and then we went to Rueben's Hole In The Wall diner for lunch. We both had a cheeseburger and fries. The cheeseburgers are fairly big so ...

The view of the back of the bridge isn't nearly so nice as they have permanent chairs set up for their night time light display.

The little stream from the waterfall is very pretty though. There is lots of minnows in the water and a few tiny yellow bream but nothing worth catching.

Kay, Gail's sister, picked me up and we went to Applebee's. They have a lunch special combo of 2 salads for $9.00. Really good deal and really good food. It was nice to have a salad. Gail met us there in her lunch hour.

      Gail brought ...

      ... go hungry around them.

After lunch, we played cards and looked at photo albums. Elizabeth has 29 great grandchildren.

I had a very quiet afternoon reading and catching up on emails.

We cleaned up outside from the party and I found this butterfly that I thought could only be found in Queensland.

We are all completely buggered from the big weekend, so its early nights all ...

      Recovery Day

Everyone was up by about 8:30 and cooking a huge breakfast. There was bacon, scrambled eggs, homegrown tomatoes, biscuits and milk gravy. Biscuits are not like ours. They call them cookies. Their biscuits are kind of like a savoury scone. The milk gravy is made out of the fat of the bacon and flour and milk. Sounds pretty awful but its actually really good. Brilliant for soaking up the previous nights alcohol .. ...
