Another gem in our National Parks system, Steamtown tells the story of the role that steam railroading played in the development of our country. The park occupies 40 acres of the Scranton, Pennsylvania railroad yard of the Delaware, Lackawanna and Western Railroad, once one of the largest rail yards in the country. At its peak it employed 4000 workers and had bays to service 40 steam locomotives at one time.

Once the show had completed, load out went really smoothly. We (as in the video crew) were done by 1:30am, which is a nice change from previous venues. One more show and I will have a day off in Toronto. I’m looking forward to it.
