    ... very, very knowledgable about wines, doesn't use enzymes or modern yeasts, uses the Old World methods. He goes to Spain, France and Germany every year to make wines over there, which he ships back to sell and trade with his fraternity he belongs to. He likes the Tempranillo grape, which he uses a lot either full on or blended. We bought a bottle, Fleur d'Umpqua, that is 80% Pinot Noir and 20% Tempranillo, and terrific! Oh, ...

    ... highway 101 South. We stopped in Portland along the way for some lunch and unfortunately ended up with a parking ticket for $70!

    After leaving Portland we decided that although last night was freezing camping we would give it another go and find another Park to go to. We got a bit lost trying to find a Walmart or something similar to pick up some food and a torch that works!     We saw many many herds of cattle and goats being lead by one or two herders. Usually the first born of the family may have an opportunity to go to school. For remaining siblings, the parents will choose if they will go to school or be given the responsibility to be in charge of their herd each day.
