Het beste van ons tripje was toch wel de vineyard. We hebben daar heerlijke wijnen geproefd in een geweldig mooie omgeving (met lavendelvelden). The Hill Country ziet er een beetje uit zoals Toscane of bepaalde gedeeltes van Frankrijk...erg mooi, uitgestrekt en groen.

Bluebonnets and blue skies
... was one of the most beautiful sights I've seen. Standing on the ridge top looking over one of the many Hill country valleys you couldn't help but think that Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid were going to mosey on by at any time, tracked by the sheriff and his team of men up on the opposite ridge, all made all the more beautiful by the blue bluenbonnet tinge.
