... The locals are so friendly and are happy to let you try your few words of German or will also help you out by speaking English. This area is popular for many things; one of the main attractions is the walking and fresh air. There are farienhomes to be had for reasonable prices I have on good ...

... with lots of tourists. The large river cruises dock here on the River Rhein. We went on a petit road train around the sights and then the next day an open top canal cruise. Apparently they have amazing Christmas markets or Christkindelsmarik held every year since 1570. We found one Christmas shop that is open all year long. The second day we were there it was even busier with 15000 French scouts in town. ...

... Gourmandises which not only had excellent coffee, but also delicious food, a children’s play area, and art workshops for kids on Wednesday afternoons. We quickly became regulars! There was also a bakery that reminded us how seriously the French take their daily bread and their pastries. Why we cannot replicate these bakeries in Canada is beyond me; maybe it’s better for my waistline that we can’t! The butcher always ...
