... morning! And we are at the hostel, time to shower and clean! ----------------add ons-------------- Not sure if this will be another thru-hike, or a long fun-filled adventure - due to these new injuries, but either way.......this is what I came out here for, to enjoy the woods, this trail, and most importantly - the people, from the townies, the angels, the hostel owners, and of course my fellow hikers - that is what makes this trail truly special - the A.T. ...

... when we met him last year. Whew. We’d kept up with the Tonners (www.facebook.com/TwinDesigns) and Josh (www.facebook.com/HelpJoshFund) through Facebook but it was really good to be back in their town again.

Brad and Jim were thrilled to see us again and they took time away from their store front to visit with us in their office. Their turtle, Diane, deserved a visit too since ...

... not finding any showers and multiple attempts with a few hotels we decided to stop a truckers stop and shower. Other than the smell of smoke it was surprisingly not that bad and we finally felt clean. We then drove through Massachusetts with some traffic delays and eventually made it to New Hampshire where we drove out east to catch the US 1. We ended up finding a nice place to stay in the Hampton’s…in a parking ...
