        ... access to water to our water pump and was puzzled about our lack of water. Our Smart Car loosened from its' tie downs and tried to escape from the trailer. Luckily no major damage. We check it at every stop but we traveled several really rough roads today. That's all the news, except Tom left Peggy in the Walmart with no money to pay for her ice cream. When called he returned to buy his "Honey Bunch" her treat! BAD TOM, GOOD TOM

        ... which was fantastic. We saw the Apollo 11 landing module, touched some moon rock and saw the actual Wright Brothers plane! There were many other highlights which were too many to mention. Considering it was free to enter we couldn't have asked for more. We also popped in briefly to the natural history museum, and looked at the Hope Diamond, the largest in the world.         ... walked to Trusty's, the bar in which we first kissed with an upstairs bar made out of a school bus.         ... village or fort. There’s an excellent indoor display and one of the outside buildings houses the actual first hole that was drilled (69.5’) where they struck oil. The building is an exact replica and the equipment inside is all operational, including a pipe that still brings up oil. The hole has been dry for years but they keep recycling some oil as a demonstration. It didn’t start raining until I was ready to leave.

        ... with the trashy Dairy Queen for birthday lunch! The lodge was off the beaten track in the middle of a forest with rustic log cabins and yurts and to stay in. We had a nice dinner and several wines in the restaurant that night before enjoying our sleep in the peaceful surrounds. The next morning we were up a little early for breakfast so they gave us a couple of coffees in takeaway cups and we wandered around the grounds.
