... br>
Golden D – by Graham Coxon. Noise nurdling by ex blur man gets very self indulgent.

Golden State by Bush – actually I ran out of road and did not hear this one.

There was one other Golden album. I am not proud of listening to this but, you know everyone else was doing it and peer pressure makes you look cool; I did not inhale and I did not enjoy it but what could I do the Abba Gold collection was just there waiting to be played…
Bairnsdale, Victoria, Australia doctormick... great bloke).

Stopped of at Yarragon for a quick pit stop. There is an old Steam Engine train that I love to stop and have a look at each time I pass through. Gave grandma a call to let her know I am going ok and had a drink. Then back onto the road. Hit some really heavy rain at the half way mark, but it didn't last very long. Also had a bit of a close call where 3 lanes decided to merge into one, but thanks to Sally I put ...
Bairnsdale, Victoria, Australia silverphoenix... but not before seeing a number of kangaroos hopping about someone’s front lawn. The museum was very interesting and we spent about an hour there, although really we could have spent twice as long, reading all the info boards. The star attraction is the huge skeleton of “Old Tom”, an orca that used to herd baleen whales into the bay then lead whaling boats towards the pod, in order to get the tongues and lips to eat as ...

Lakes Entrance, Victoria, Australia zoeandgigs... i kind of got it and we moved up to a real slope.

The chair thing was actually easier than it sounded. One girl, whose first time it was also, who had a completely new outfit decorated in pretty fury pink and head to toe in brand names tried once on the chair lift, didn't like it or fell or something so actually decided to walk up the slope for the next 2 hours everytime she go to the bottom! We knew we were over the 50kmh limit so Sean followed him to ask what was the ticket and he answered "ah no, no ticket, just wanted to check your driving license. Even if I wanted to, I could not give you one as you are a foreigner!" Cool. Happy bunnies. We were even more happy to find our the campsites were giving free entries to the Aquadome. We went for a swim, sauna and jacuzzi session...Lovely!!
Lakes Entrance, Victoria, Australia leprefrogHi all, Just a quick update on the road to Melbourne. We stayed at David and Harmina's again on Wednesday night and set off down the coast. Our 1st stop was a place called Merimbula - nice place but not much to tell you as it was only a camping stop-off for 1 night. The following night we stayed in a place called Lakes Entrance. This was a ...
Lakes Entrance, Australia craig.graham... that Point Hicks was a wicked place to set up camp. It was quite a drive so we had to spend a night in Orbust, which is a buttf*** town in the middle of nowhere. We ended up paying to camp in a camp grounds type area. It was pretty good as they had a wicked field right next to it and Wylie, Marty and myself played football until we could not see in front of us.... Bad thing was Wylez and I had like 12 mosquito bites all over our backs... Nasty ...
Phillips Island, Australia mcdonkeyburgers... town with great views across the ocean and lakes. We spend the afternoon on Ninety Mile Beach which is just ocean and golden sand for as far as you can see. We were very happy as we saw our first wild Kangaroos in the afternoon, sure there will be many more to come!
Lakes Entrance, Australia danielandrachel... so able to have a long walk along the 90 mile beach, (not all the way I hasten to add) looking at pelicans, black cockatoos, loriqueet, black swans - in fact we sound like David Attenborough! We were worried about the weather down here, but it is like a rainy summers day in UK, ie mild and wet and still haven't got our thermals on!! Tomorrow move on, perhaps to the Yarra Valley as want to try some of that Oz wine, or may just go to Melbourne - have yet to decide - fun isn't it!!
