Welcome back fellow adventurers and avid adventure followers ! It has been quite a while since we've last met here. If I recall I had just left the land of blistering heat, incomparable natural beauty and some really crazy adventures. Other than being a few minutes late, it was an uneventful trip . . . one that we have made many times. Just before getting into Ann Arbor proper, the train goes by some wetlands . . . and we saw several sand hill cranes!! They are about 2-3 times the size of a blue heron!!
We had texted Tammi to tell her what car we were in . . . so she and Cole (the grandson) were waiting!

We got to Ft. Wayne, collapsed into my grandparents' house, and were asleep by 10pm.
