We were taking the excursion train in the morning, and the hotel provides great shuttle service to and from airport and to and from train station. Breakfast starts early enough to accommodate people on the train. Room is big and comfortable.

There is also a small ferry that brings anglers from the beach to the fishing spot. Although very cool, we preferred our small, private boat on the Kenai. As we were getting out of John's van back at his office an Alaska State Trooper car pulled up! Quinn was so excited when John said it ...

... conclusion: After the your first 16 oz's of beer, any beer goes with any food ... what the yak, anyway.

The drive to Anchorage took us through Wasilla (hello Sara). The view from the highway was spectacular -- lakes and three dimensional mountains. Mountains lined up straight ahead as far as you could see. It was 12:01 pm so we stopped by Sara's for a beer. Good pairing -- mountains, beer, and Sara.

She decided on the wig to give her a bit more individuality!

When she realized we had been all over Alaska this time of year, she was impressed. She's in the travel industry and gave us her card. She came for a visit 25 years ago and basically never left. She was eager to hear more about our trip so here's a shout out to Mary! You achieved your goal and were a gorgeous sexy Rook!
