Not quite superior, but very close!
... town called North Bay, still on Lake Nipissing. I had booked a campsite at Samuel de Champlain provincial Park, just east of North Bay but by 9:30 this evening we were all too tired to even contemplate setting up the tent again and the Travelodge visible from the Highway in North Bay looked pretty inviting. So were stopped and here we are. Ottawa tomorrow...yeah... and we pick up Pete the day ...
We hiked in the rain
I left pretty early in the morning and it rained all day on my way to North Bay. Karl met me at some random hotel that I stopped at, because I didn't want to go any further. We went to the quints museum, which I had no idea about, but it was interesting. There were five kids born to the same lady during the Depression and the government took them and put them on display! Crazy.

Bon nous voila rendu à Sturgeons Falls et ce presque sans anicroche.

Getting ready, Set, Go!
We've enjoyed a few days in Callander on Callander Bay, Lake Nippising (near North Bay) with friends Judy Skidmore and Phil Hearn. Judy and Phil are long time friends from rugby days and it is always great to get together for good food, wine, port and conversation.
We picked up the trailer Thursday and have had it checked out and bought a few provisions before setting out for Lake Superior early Monday May 28.
Now the adventure really begins.
