Last day on land (for a while anyway)
Our free shuttle from the hotel leaves at 12.45 pm for the Fort Lauderdale Everglades cruise terminal. We have a couple of free hours first so we walk to the nearby shopping mall (America’s land mass consists mostly of shopping malls (49%) and freeways (49%). The balance is housing and hotels!)

Nature Next Door
In reality, we should have done this day on Tuesday, instead of the Hugh Taylor Birch Park..We would have had more time to enjoy the place had we done so, but we wouldn't have seen the turtle laying her eggs, so we don't regret our planning.

LOG CABIN BUILDING AND THE LAND
... it with did not work, and when the neurotoxic symptoms began to interfere with my vision and consciousness, I had Wade and Rocky hurry me to the hospital.
The treatment involved a rough scrub brush with Phisohex soap followed by the application of cocoa butter placing me in a room for observation. Hours later with the symptoms subsiding and the room unattended, I made my escape for home.

“Very ordinary but convenient links to airport & cruise terminal”

Very ordinary accommodation (as expected) but free shuttles to and within close proximity of Ft Lauderdale Int. Airport and Cruise terminals. Also within walking distance to shopping mall for last minute supplies if cruising. Wouls recommend for those reasons only.
