    ... a farmer's market still continues and we were able to pick up fresh produce. Lots of shops line the square, and some members of our group found it necessary to sample ice-cream.

    ... excellent continental breakfast, I hiked a mile and a half over to the road to Troutville, VA, a small town that offers free camping in the town park and free showers and laundry at the fire station across the street. I set up my tent and seam sealed it, which involved basically painting a silicon solution over the seams to fully waterproof them.     ... the fire :(. It turns out that we were not meant to be girl scouts :(.
    To get over this heartbreak, we played some cards and ate some chocolate by candlelight. We stayed up and chatted like one giant slumber party and then headed to bed. The only thing was, I managed to leave my clothes in the car, which was not only locked, but our leader Kate was also sleeping in there. It's going to be a fun night.
