Jack and I had a good run to Jacksonville from Bozeman. Made it all the way to Lawrenceburg, TN the first day. We were really beat after 10 hours of flying, but It was just too hard to give up those tailwinds. After a quick over nite at the hospitable FBO in Lawrenceburg, we made it to Herlong Field in JAX by 10 AM. So now sporting a new 3 bladed CS prop from ...

... baggage fee has magically been waived away and my bags are checked all the way to Okinawa.

My parents and I said a really sad and tearful goodbye. It's one of those paramount moments where you feel the entire gravity of what you're about to do weighing on your soul. I love them so much and I'm really going to miss them. I waltzed through security, and here I sit at my gate a full hour and ...

    See You Saturday

A travel blog entry by angielajolie123 on Jul 16, 2015

This entire week we've been giddy with excitement ending our FaceTime convos with "See you Saturday" in lieu of our normal goodbyes. It's no longer 'goodbye', it's 'see you soon', and for anyone who has had to deal with being separated from a loved one, it's an amazing thing.

I have 25 hours or so of travel that begin early tomorrow morning. Until then.

    xoxo

We could tell the weather was getting warmer with every little drive south we did. When we woke up it was comfortable and we were able to go outside in t-shirts and leave the van door open. It was a nice change of pace from always having to bundle up before leaving the van. It hasn't been uncomfortably cold for the most part of the trip, with the exceptions of a few days, but it has been cold enough to always have to put on hat, gloves, scarf and jackets when getting up to go to ...

Three more nights on the road

At last we're headed home with no more stops to sight see. Today we left Fredericksburg in the rain and had it off and on all day. We spent this night at East Houston RV. Very Noisy!

The next day we traveled from Houston to Calloway RV Park in Hammond, LA. This park was also very noisy with lots of traffic even though we were not right on a major road. ...
