After Napa we hit the tarmac through the agricultural centre of California getting into Turlock in the early evening. We enjoyed a good night of catching up with family friends Carol and Warren / hosts with the most (mainly cold beer, pizza and a comfortable bed) / trip planners....the night was much appreciated and the next day we headed into Yosemite National Park and south to Vegas ...

We stopped off at a small liquor store on the way home to price their rum. This store had some of the oldest stuff I've seen for sale in a long time. Old bottles of Crisco I haven't seen from the 70's. Products I'm not even sure exist any more. We saw an old bottle of booze. Champagne perhaps. It was $30 but seems like maybe it's worth a lot more.
