    ... Monte Forest. The sky was overcast which meant spectacular views from the top of the mountain were tricky to find. We drove through the green forest, which reminded us of centre parks, then along the pacific coastline, known as pebble drive where the scenery was absolutely fantastic displaying white beaches.     ... it was Big Sur, it was still very impressive, its just i think it was a little over hyped.

    Another thing was that it is a massive drive, it took the whole day to get from San Luis obispo to Santa Cruz, although i did stop off a lot to look at the views. I was quited impressed with my navigation skills as well because with no map directions or GPS i managed to find the Hotel in the middle of Santa Cruz.
