... An hour later I pulled into the Northgate RV park in Athens Alabama. Same guy met me on the porch, said "howdy y'all" and signed me in again. All I had to do was write the check cuz I was already in the computer. I got settled in, took a shower to get the kinks out, made supper, watched TV a bit and hit the rack. ... was completely deserted, but kindly left an access code to the pilots lounge and courtesy car! Nice! So I drove to town, got a beer and salad at the Brass Lantern Roadhouse Grill, filled the courtesy car and made myself comfortable in the pilots lounge. Today was the wedding day!!!! First Ohno Scot Mama Daddy and Luke and Me went and took a walk and we saw a water fall after a marvelous breakfast buffet. ( they had the best cinnamon rolls ever ) Then we went home and took showers and got dressed up for the wedding . After that we went back to our cabin and took a nap. Last we went to reception and had the best strawberry shortcake ever!!!!!!!!!! And had a dance party and had a ...
... lunch. Interestingly enough the guy who checked me in told me he had never heard of a Canyon Star before and then we realized that we are parking right next to one. Funny. This is a very small campground, seems to be very quiet, graveled sites, apparently good Wi-Fi and a great place for an overnight travel stopover.

this really helped especially with the luggage and weight we are carrying. Mark suggested a smaller front sprocket but maybe a couple of teeth less on back would be better. maybe something to look into when the trail gets tougher.
