The next time she comes to town, we've talked about making sure to get out to the Grand Ole Opry to experience that at least once; they always have good shows! Again, book soon if you want to do that!
... solely based on location to Broadway. it's the closest you'll get, and if you stay north of Broadway, you'll be walking down hill there and up hill back (which is always the hard part). When I tried to book a room at the Hilton, all they had left were handicap rooms. Not a big deal, but gives you an idea how popular the hotel is.
I also knew I wanted to take Ashley on a tour of some type, but since she'd been to Nashville before I knew she didn't really need to "see the city" so ...
After a wonderful trip in Austin, it was time to head back home. We went to the airport early in the morning and ate at Earl Campbell's Sports Bar for breakfast. It was the best breakfast food I've ever had at an airport and wanted to give them a special shout out, stop there for a breakfast bagel if you have time!
Thanks to everyone in Austin who made our trip so wonderful; we had a blast! Can't wait to visit again!
