The day started at breakfast. Rice Krispies believe it or not, nice English cereal! Had to be on the bus to leave New Orleans for 7.45am. Had to wait an hour on the bus as one girl had a few drinks the night before bless her and forgot her alarm but we found her in the end and got going. We then set off for Panama beach! Couple of hours later we stopped have way in Alabama!! Sweet ...

... all the hustle and bustle of the closeness for the Naples area. I like it a lot but Bitsy prefers parks that are closer to shopping, ie restaurants, grocery and liquor stores. I say BS to Bits! ... as they bullied their way fighting for the crackers we threw to them. Not so pretty heads , quite worty-like!!!

We visited the very large " Power Plant" in Tampa at which at least a hundred manatees were floating in the warm waters that expel out into the Gulf as a result of the coal burning process for power.
They can only survive in waters 68 degrees or above so this has been a lucky find for these 1000lb ...

To be honest, the only reason to go to Mexico Beach is to eat at Killer Seafood. Lots of beach but the community ambience is kind a meh. But we didn't care cuz shrimp and key lime pie awaited us after walking for an hour so on the beach. We traveled inland afterwards to Wewakitchka which was essentially mile ...
