I'm drowning in hippo dung, but things are going well so far. Lots of exciting information will be forth-coming soon! And I am sure I will have time to have an adventure or two while I am here, so there may also be some more fun travel blogs in the future. But ...

not expecting that Ithaca will offer you riches.
Ithaca has given you the beautiful voyage.

Without her you would never have taken the road.

But she has nothing more to give you.
And if you find her poor, Ithaca has not defrauded ...

... Unfortunately, it's all the same road, so whether you want to go north or South depends where you are on the ring. I had no idea where I was on it and I guessed the wrong way, and with signs that flat out lied about which lane you should get in to go to where you wanted I had to swallow my male pride and ask for directions at a garage! Defeated I went to bed, but I had organised to go out with the nurses on Sunday to St Augustine which turned out to be ...
