... a really bad sore throat and head cold, so we cancelled our plans to drive up to Marquette to see old friends Dave & Pat, and to explore some of the things I'd read about in that area. We stayed home all day, until after dinner, when we went for a ride through Seney National Wildlife Refuge. Got lots of pictures, but our signal here is too slow to load any. :(

So far, so good. We'll arrive at the cottage in about an hour.
I miss my animals already! Our first vacation without the pups, but glad we left them behind with "aunt Stace".
