Today we left Shreveport and crossed the Mississippi River at Vicksburg. We turned off the interstate (I-20) shortly after crossing the river and went to the Vicksburg National Military Park. After a lengthy search for an allowed picnicking spot, we enjoyed a picnic and the beautiful day.

We left Robertsdale if for no other reason than to escape the constant gunfire from the shooting range nearby.
