    ... of my adult life prior to moving to California a few years ago.

    Much has changed with all the growth of businesses and influx of people but what hasn't changed are the friendships which remain over many years despite the infrequent personal contact.

    We are grateful to the internet for the ability to maintain connections and when we see our friends, many kindred spirits in so many ways, it seems like old home week.

    And so, with the help of a handful of amazing people, I am now sitting in Dublin, having a pint, and creating my first travel blog.

    ... cities under a crescent moon, I can almost tangibly feel the fulcrum
    start to balance out. The terror level is back down to yellow, and I’m gaining
    back a little equilibrium as Goodbye’s time wanes, and Hello is on the horizon.

    Juan felt the need to earn an honest living today so we were on our own in the Emerald City. Luckily he did such an amazing job of showing us around and schooling us on the bus system yesterday that we felt like locals. It helped that the bus routes have recently changed, making even the locals look like tourists, so we blended in nicely with our bus transfers and our Hipster Supply (TM) gear.
