        ... the weather was sunny and nice so they could stand outside. The vendors seem to be really good sales people since I came away with foot cream, muscle therapy lotion, chocolate cherries (not much selling for those), lemon curd and balsamic vinegar. You get the picture. When they could stand waiting for us no longer, the guys piled us in the car and we went to a Pho (pronounced FA, like FA la la ) restaurant ...

        ... so that you get a perception of what I mean but the sculptures are just exquisite. My favourite was probably the ceiling of flowers. A photographer from the exhibition took our photo for free underneath it which was lovely. Apart from being sick towards the end of us enjoying the exhibit it really was a lovely day. We then waited in peak hour traffic to hop back on the bus which while you are ill is really not ideal, but we eventually made it home. Talk ...

        Much has changed with all the growth of businesses and influx of people but what hasn't changed are the friendships which remain over many years despite the infrequent personal contact.

        We are grateful to the internet for the ability to maintain connections and when we see our friends, many kindred spirits in so many ways, it seems like old home week.
