... today) so I spent most of the journey trying to ignore this fact and not be sick! Eventually our a little car managed to drag itself up to 6000 feet (apparently Sequoia trees only grow between 5 and 7000 feet, not ideal!) and we got out to stretch our legs and were rewarded with the 'Nations Christmas Tree' aka a GINORMOUS tree that was pretty impressive! ... meadow and it was beautiful! There was a circular walk that went around it and partly through the forest so we set off! Literally just as we were discussing how cool it would be if a bear wandered across the path in front of us, we turned the corner to see some French tourists pointing at the long grass.... A BEAR!
