... a mile. It was a nice little hike and interesting - definitely not up to comparison with the big boys like Mammoth Caverns but quite a pleasant little tour. I was hopping for bats but they left earlier in the year. Just outside the cave entrance is a sluice to look for gemstones. Hokey but cute. We have a little haul for James when we see him.
All in all, a nice stay in a nice park.
Brief comment as we have no electronic access other than the IPad and I hate to type on it. Another great campground with a large cave to explore, gem mining, and the usual other normal amenities. We'about 20 miles north of Birmingham and will be here another couple of days. I'll get you all the lovely details once we're out of this electronic wilderness. Ta ta for a couple of days.
