Another up and out early as we were aiming for Sequoia and King's Canyon National Park. We had about a 4 hour drive from our motel to the park traveling south of the mountains and up the west side of the mountain range. We had kept our mosquito-screened window open during the night with the curtains open. When we awoke we could see the sun through the trees, which was coming up over the lake. We had a nice lie-in until 8am and then went for a Tiger Breakfast at the TIger Bar and Cafe a couple of door down from the place last night.
We filled up with petrol at 'remote USA silly prices' and joined the queue of traffic waiting to pay $20 to get in ...
