Californication and a little sweet home ....London
... cousins who were there celebrating their 10th wedding aniversary. We saw a fantastic Cirque du Solei show at the Bellagio which was a mixture of acrobatics and syncronised swimming and went to a crazy show called 'The Blue Man Group'. We also did some of the scariest rides we have ever been on at the top of the Stratosphere which is a Tower that stands 32 floors high overlooking the Las Vegas Strip. Vegas is an incredible place but, 3 days is enough!

Dag 34 Midpines - Fresno
... voor een mooi hotel voor vanavond. Ongeveer 15 minuten later zien we auto’s voorbij rijden en nog 10 minuten later mogen we zelf rijden. Het is een enkelbaans weg en soms van slechte kwaliteit. Ook is het stijl en bochtig, maar Daisy zorgt er kundig voor dat we heel beneden komen. Uit het park snel nog bij de eerste pomp tanken omdat we bijna leeg zijn. Het is nog ongeveer 100 km naar Fresno, waar we voor een hotel willen gaan kijken.

Day 26: cheers
We slept. We drove. We ate. We watched tv. Basically we did nothing you could be interested in, but days like this just gotta be enjoyed sometimes... And when a room is only slightly dirty, but even has a sofa, that is reason enough to open our bottle of Paradise Ridge Zinfandel of the Hoenselaars Vineyard in the Russian River Valley, Sonoma County. Cheers to Hans and cheers to everyone we love and miss!

Seeing Yosemite National Park
We stayed at Hensley Lake for 4 nights and got our site for $15 a night with my national parks senior pass. We really enjoyed seeing Yosemite and while there were lots of folks there, it wasn't as bad as I had expected. We did plan to see it before schools were out and I think this helped. We left Saturday the 28th headed for Northern CA and Oregon.
