      Heading Home!

We left the campground around 9AM and parked the RV at a Flying J while we left to join the group for a CITO (Cache In Trash Out) at McKenzie Park. We were issued to huge trash bags and told to go get trash. We previously had been at the park and knew that the area around the ball park had a lot a trash so that is where we headed. It wasn't long and we had both bags full plus and treasure trove of discarded beer bottles, over ...

The rest of the trip to Tye was uneventful, however, we hit a glitch again. Once we were stopped for the night, ...

... autographed but I had no room on the bike. We sat for a while talking and then I got back on the road.

I got to Harker Heights which was quite a ways off my route but I just had to. An old friend, Diana Vasquez from High School class of 1978 found me on Facebook not too long before the trip. I have never been back to Corpus Christi for a class reunion and couldn't pass up the chance to see a friend after 36 years. We had dinner at a place ...
