Also heard about Frango mint chocolate found only at Macy's being originally a Marshall Fielding specialty from Chicago. It passed the taste test. It was so much better chocolate than Hershey's. have bought a couple of small bars to try different flavours.

... did. We wake to a new day in Chicago, and the sun is shining. We visit Cloud Gate, or what is locally known as the Bean for a photo opp, and then head to the 'Bongo Rooms' for some brunch. Now, it's been said many a time, by many people, that portion sizes in America are too generous and we must now reiterate this concern: so, so much food...good food, but so so much: so much and too much. We spend the day working off that brunch and undertaking some retail therapy ...
... are going to get deep dish in Chicago, it is recommended to call ahead and order it, as it can take upwards to 30-45 minutes. We got lucky and pre-ordered while we were waiting and didn't wait too much longer. Seemed very authenticate and really cheesy and saucy.
Took a cab back to Navy pier and enjoyed the Chicago skyline at night. Walked the pier and finally headed back to our hotel.
