Motel 6, Lost Hills, 11.15pm

I am about to fall asleep. After a very late night last night and about five hours sleep, I don't have the capacity to be awake at this time.

I went to Universal Studios today with the friend I am visiting in LA. Making use of the annual passes received when we came about a year ago. After the studio tour, in the iconic studio tour 'train’ we went on the Jurassic Park ride. This ...

Heading east the landscape and hills were barren and brown....until we went over the last hill into the valley before entering the SNF and what was there?? Acres and acres of crops. There was a sea of green among all the brown soil. We learned ...

... was safe.

Kidding! But since Phil is brown-skinned, and I look like a young Osama Bin Laden, we expected to get searched at least once. Not that we had anything to hide, but it would have been such a pain to have to repack the Jeep along the side of the road, not to mention possibly have to re-assemble to vehicle if they decided to drop the gas tank or open the interior panels of the vehicle. Apparently they can ...
