      Went back into Death Valley again this morning. Walked two of trails that are suggested to be done before ten in the morning. Finished the last one at 9:50 and it was stating to get uncomfortable. I think it was showing 45 on the dashboard temperature gauge.       We found out this area is one of the largest agricultural areas in the world. They produce 90% of CA carrots and the baby carrots were developed here. Frito has a chip plant here and they use local potatoes. They also have a large citrus and nut crops.

      ... a result, when you walk along the shore, you're surrounded by thousands of dead fish. It's so weird. I waded into the water, thinking that I might like to see if it's like the Dead Sea and you can float, but stepping on fish skeletons the whole way in was starting to get disgusting.
