... aber wie immer ließen wir uns die Laune nicht verderben.

Endlich erreichten wir den Parkplatz am Giants-Museum (dort beginnt der Big Tree Trail) und erwischten mit viel Glück einen Parkplatz. Der Nationalpark war supervoll, da heute Sonntag ist und zu den Touristen noch die Einheimischen Wochenendausflügler hinzukommen.

... of a fire. After a good look around, we decide to go for a nice walk, and pick a 1.5mile loop called the Big Trees Trail. The trail is lined with great big log fencing, and along the way are informative plaques about the trees. Did you know that these giants eventually flatten out on top, and just get wider? ... tracks! The funny thing is that at the first park, we heard the whistle and the noise all night long, but now, we don't notice it anymore! Also, we want everyone at home to not complain about our bumps and potholes on the roads. Here it is 10X's worst, and your dodging holes, and bumps at 70mph! Its wild! But we're still having a blast!
