What a change from last night. Check in was with a very friendly and helpful young lady. Lovely big room with King bed. Fridge and microwave. Lovely to see a fridge with an ice box not frozen over. My compliments to the housekeeping staff for keeping the fridges defrosted. Only one bed but more than one towel each. Biggest surprise was the FREE washing machine and dryer. This hotel is what we have come to expect from Comfort Inns and restores our confidence in the brand. Close to the highway for easy access but no road noise in the room.

We reserved a whirlpool room and were immediately impressed with the size of the room. Everything was clean and we were never bothered by any noise from inside or outside the hotel. Everything in the room worked as it should. The price I paid for a whirlpool room was very reasonable.
The front desk check-in was fast. We didn't use the pool but it looked great and was being used by others. A great hotel at a great price, I would recommend this property to anyone.

The Comfort Inn at Essington seems to have worker gangs and travellers as their main clientèle. They ate a surprising amount of yoghurt for breakfast and did not stay long in the breakfast area. The check out staff were more friendly than those working last night.

Went back towards Essington to find bread. Stopped at a Wawa which sold …

We have had a really nice time in Pennsylvania and it has also been good to have a bit of down-time in the evenings to recover from our busy schedule so far. Diane and Brian have been wonderful hosts to us and good tour guides too!
