    Good Comfort Inn quality

What a change from last night. Check in was with a very friendly and helpful young lady. Lovely big room with King bed. Fridge and microwave. Lovely to see a fridge with an ice box not frozen over. My compliments to the housekeeping staff for keeping the fridges defrosted. Only one bed but more than one towel each. Biggest surprise was the FREE washing machine and dryer. This hotel is what we have come to expect from Comfort Inns and restores our confidence in the brand. Close to the highway for easy access but no road noise in the room.

    Great Saty

We reserved a whirlpool room and were immediately impressed with the size of the room. Everything was clean and we were never bothered by any noise from inside or outside the hotel. Everything in the room worked as it should. The price I paid for a whirlpool room was very reasonable.
The front desk check-in was fast. We didn't use the pool but it looked great and was being used by others. A great hotel at a great price, I would recommend this property to anyone.

The Comfort Inn at Essington seems to have worker gangs and travellers as their main clientèle. They ate a surprising amount of yoghurt for breakfast and did not stay long in the breakfast area. The check out staff were more friendly than those working last night.

Went back towards Essington to find bread. Stopped at a Wawa which sold …

Came home and decided to go NE to Morgantown to some antique stores so we had to try some different back roads.  The first two we can to were closed ...

Today is the final day to pack and prepare the motorhome for our trip to our 49th state and back. This will be the first trip to Alaska in the motorhome we purchased last spring to replace the trailer we had used as our home on the last two trips to Alaska. We are hoping that without the need to set up our accommodations each night this trip will be a little easier on our bodies although our home will also be our wheels as ...

... We saw a bunch of Amish people in Tennessee and Luke kept calling the men "gnomes". So he was super happy. We walked through the barn area and they even had some pretty peacocks. The kids were probably most excited about the Amish candy we got :) Onward to Washington DC! Made it...dinner with an old friend and the kids are fast asleep before 8! A record by a landslide this ...

... still be in operation when the circus is here), so we went down there to see that. A guy from the railroad saw John in full clown and asked him for a photo next to the train. Wish John could have been a conductor for that photo! J We noticed a group of younger school kids down the way, so we made our way over there and I asked one of the teachers if it was okay for John to do a short program. They were delighted, so I handed out ...
