    ... so I could see how cold it got, but when we were sitting in the pavilion it was around 50, so I would be fairly confident if I said it at least got down to 40 or so during the night, especially with the ridiculous winds that were blowing near-constantly. The fact that I didn't so much as shiver during the night makes me even more confident about taking my hammock on the trail.

    So, you know it's getting real when you start having nightmares about it.

    I woke up in the wee hours of this morning with the most god awful camp in my right calf. My first, sensible reaction was, of course, to assume that I'd been shot. The pain was worse than childbirth (or so I can only conclude).

    ... in someone's back yard but there they are on the right side of I-4 when you are driving east.
