      ... as they found it, complete with plastic sauce bottles on the tables. More work has had to be done to the outside of the building which is now shrouded in black sheeting to keep the light out and enable them to create a night scene of city lights that are visible from inside the diner.       ... declared that we should try this Pho place (Pronounces 'Fa' I think...but Chris kept saying 'Poo') So thanks to the Internet and not me, Chris would try some more new food. He generally liked the soup he got but the meat was not very nice and at the end of the meal he had a little meat filled napkin collection that he threw away in the bathroom as to not offend any of the employees. What a good (strange) guy.

    • I wish I spoke Spanish. I took French through high school and in college, so that won't help me on this trip. I have always wanted to learn Spanish, but just never had. Maybe this trip will give me that push I need to actually buy that darn Rosetta Stone.

      ... my entire face numb it was hard to talk and felt really strange! Took a couple of hours – maybe more –for it to wear off and talking was difficult. I cannot have anything to eat that might get into the space between the tooth and gums till tomorrow so I had tomato soup for dinner. Phil went biking for a bit and swimming. Red is sick again and he insisted in coming over for some flour-apparently he is baking. We did some Facebook looking tonight and worked ...
