    ... again at Doolittle, (jcn T) I followed some very well preserved sections of Old 66, it does detour a little (due to the I 44) and for some it Runs next to Interstate 44. Yet when 66 pulls away you find a calm and enjoyable ride. The stretch before Devils Elbow is dual, divided cariageway, and in good condition.     Arrived in this historic home built in 1904 on June 19th. It is an amazing home. They have tried to keep it true to the era in which it was built.

    Today we woke up around 8am, had some breakfast (free) at are hotel & set off back onto I-55. We stopped for petrol - $2.50 a gallon - so cheap.
