Day of Atonement
We started our day out by driving to Hickory, NC for services. We had several visitors and some visitors that we were very excited to see that we had not seen in awhile. A GREAT surprise!! After services, we drove to the Microtel in Charlotte, NC to take advantage of the park and fly package. We changed clothes, filled out the information to be able to leave our car, and after Sabbath we went to Olive Garden ...

Alone for the third night in a row, but alittle earlier i talked to a guy who i have been close to for awhile. He passes me in the morning because i sleep in, then i pass him in the afternoon cause i walk fast. We had a good chat, but he was about to get off the trail because his daughter at home was having health issues.

Into the mountains
... not much sleep as the people next to us decided to stay up until well after midnight talking despite there being a "quiet time" between 10.00pm and 8.00am in every campground we have stayed in.

Another Day, not the best
... started to ride and was very tired.....I rode for awhile and when the Van came along I decided to give it up for today and really was light headed even after eating finally and drinking some poweraide.....So my body said no and I listened and was the co pilot for the gals the rest of the day....Ramona and I ended in the Van she driving and we got to the motel and I helped unpack the Van and then left to go to my KOA Campground for the night......The scenry ...
