    ... for the locals - which is evident at this restaurant. Pretty cool tradition for locals to drop by and they always have a table to share. The food here is unbelievable it is so good. What a night! I managed to get quite a few grand photos on my wandering around the Markplatz and many side streets while I was in Gengenbach, especially on Sunday.     (Leo) we went to Petite France, a beautiful old part of the city of Strasbourg. Our first stop was the special Christmas decoration shop that is open all year. I chose a bell and a special nutcracker decoration for us all to share next Christmas. (Sebastian) I had a photo taken with Caroline by the river of the Petite France. When we came to France in 2009, we had the same photo taken in the same spot on the same square. I enjoyed having the same photo with the same person. (Otis) ...

Given its very specific geologic history, including episodes of underlying tectonic upheaval, Alsace has a widely varied viticulture - and is world-renowned for the quality of its Riesling, Silvaner, Pinot Blanc, Pinot Gris, Gewürztraminer and Pinto Noir, among others.
