... of varyng quality. We arrive into Vilnius about 6pm and check into our hotel.
Dinner was located with in walking distance at the 'Bear Restaurant'. We later find out that the restaruant was located in what was during nazi occupation the 'little jewish ghetto' where over 7000 people were crammed before being sent to concentration and extermination camps. We had actually walked through what was once the ghetto gates ... chilling to the bone.

... have done the UK and Norway before joining this tour..bloody amazing. She is really clever, and he just helps her along, us ladies help her in the bathrooms but how awesome is that. Everyone is still getting to know one another, it's certainly different to the last group.....not to many photos today. I am trying to watch Cops in Russian or Polish or God knows what language it is, it's quite funny as it's just the same as ours so I can pretty much guess what they are ...

... we go. Vilnius is a very small city, and also one of the quietest capitals I've ever been to! After getting some food for dinner that evening, we took an early night, we were both still tired despite the amounts of sleep we'd had.

The following day we left the hostel at midday to do the free walking tour. It started at the Old Town Hall, with a plaque of a quote from George Bush declaring anyone that made an enemy out of Lithuania has also made an enemy ...

          Vilnius - Day 1

... t know where I was but I wasn't worried. There are people on the streets and the street signs looked familiar so I must've seen then on the map. Pilies street led me to the Catheral Square and back to the hotel.

I saw other places but I still don't know what they are.

The plan for tomorrow is a city tour.
