... juice I bought 20% juice tasted great. Finally I arrived at Hakodate JR terminal, I head over to the Hemni Ryokan trying my luck if there is a open room. What a packed day..... Did I get some sightseeing done,,,, The one thing I am impressed with the Japanese public transportation is their on-time to the minute attitude. Every train, bus are moving on exact schedule. Amazing. Their spirit on detail and presentation, is impeccable, down to things as simple as the lunch ...

... I got a message from Sawan saying that his train was delayed indefinitely due to inclement weather. I assumed that's why my train had stopped too. There were announcements, but only in Japanese. At 7:50 pm someone came on the train to tell us that there were buses waiting for us to take us to Sapporo Station. We all filed onto the buses. It is free with a lift ticket. Hirafu, Niseko Village and Annupuri also have night skiing through to ...

... excellent! Lots of choices and the steak was tender and tasty. Their breakfast buffet was just so-so and I didn't eat that much. Their hot springs were soothing and we didn't get to try the semi outdoor ones 'cause it was freezing cold outside.

The hotel should put more effort in putting English signs since not all guests are locals.

There was just one incident that caused anxiety to myself and my friend. We ...

... down the dark alley and I found my hotel. Hmmmm how can I describe this hotel. A bit on the verge of sketchy but not really. They have an onsen here but I am exhausted and did not partake. Probably in the morning as I will likely be up at 5am!! I found some ramen and a very big beer. The water here is the first place that I have not liked it. I also found an ice cream vending machine! They have vending machines for everything! Today I had a hot chocolate ...
