... for dinner!
Our entire trip will be an imprint in my memory as the best vacation I have ever had. I would not have changed a thing! I would encourage everyone to do this in their lifetime.
Tomorrow we fly to Edmonton. I have learned that I prefer Easy Jet as opposed to RyanAir for domestic flights in Europe.
Take care all and see you soon!

... Once she was dead, the killer could start his real work..." "...Standing over her or on her right side, he would have been able to hold her head and neck still with his left hand while he slit her throat from left to right with the knife in his right hand. Chances are that the killer would have got very little blood on himself since the heart would already have ...
London, England, United Kingdom geotravels... out of our hostel today and caught the tube back to our hostel. By the time we got caught the tube back and got some breakfast from Tesco, it was past 10am so I decided to just head up to our room and take my time. I had a shower, chilled on the Internet and packed myself up before checking out. It was about 1pm by the time I checked out and received the "What's this all about - you're checking out 3hrs late" but I just said sorry and they gave me my ...
London, England, United Kingdom tom_white_5588... and turned around and went back to the hotel. I wasn't feeling well, and my left hip is enough better that I discovered something that was probably there before, a pain on my right, either my right hip or lower right back. It's pretty bad. So I go back to my room (Isn't this fascinating? I hope it gets better!) and take something for the pain. Later I went back out, did some book shopping, went to Boots (Boots the Chemist, for everything you need) for a few things ...
London, England, United Kingdom drtee... tears to my eyes. One just read 'for those who don't know yet'. I asked John try and get some photographs, but I knew it would be fairly difficult with the amount of people there taking part and watching. I saw him pop up every now and then to get some shots of me walking past during the first kilometre - then we ventured off up hill and away from the main park. I was on my own - and as time passed I was wondering how Hazel was getting on and if she had ...
St Albans, England, United Kingdom travelmonster... great sightseeing but was probably the best place to be. We got off at Marble Arch and had lunch at Selfridges. Went for a walk through Bond Street and Hamley's toy shop. Kids loved that! Got home in time to watch the men's Wimbledon final on TV. Today we are on the train to Leeds and then Ilkley. It's still raining and cool. London's still a great place to visit!
London, United Kingdom llireva... to literally push him home. We walked about 2km in the rain last night, it was freezing but Rusty didn't seem to notice, and we had to get off the tube 3 times in 3 stations for 'some air', so a 10minute trip took about an hour! All I could think about was that we had to make it back to our station so I could get subway and go to bed and get out of my wet clothes, but unfortunately Rusty simply needed to get home ...
London, United Kingdom angelakeenWots up guv? In the words of the simpsons character comic book guy - "Worst flight ever (or wfe for short WFE)". The media centre didnt work... in fact the entire electronic arm of my seat wasnt working, so no reading light either... way, way too many things to complain about so on to the good stuff. Hotel de Stephanie is awesome, we had an early check in at around 6 ...
London, United Kingdom bennali... taxi to our hotel would cost from the airport ($160 - one way), we decided to take the train. More of an adventure, right? After a quick shower at the hotel, we decided to do the tourist thing and go see the changing of the guards at Buckingham Palace (a bit of a letdown), walk by Westminster Abbey (entrance fee of $20 per adult/$15 per kid was prohibitive), see Big Ben, have lunch in a pub (a trio of famous Brit Pub Foods - Fish & Chips, Bangers & Mash, and ...
